KR's Hobbies Policies: Please see information below for basic order information as it contains all information regarding shipping, warranty, etc. Thank You.
Shipping:
ALL IN STOCK ORDERS SHIPPED SAME/NEXT BUSINESS DAY FROM CLEARED PAYMENT
All orders are shipped via US Postal Service. Option selected determines shipping time, not processing time. Though we will do our best to move Express orders out ahead of normal orders, this may not always happen, so if you have a rush order please contact us before or at time of order so we know to put a rush on yoru package. This applies to Express Mail Options Only.
Visit www.USPS.com for Order tracking (Does not include for First Class Mail options as the numbers are Delivery Confirmation (Customs Tracing Number for international shipments) and are not scanned/tracked by the postal service, they only confirm delivery. Also information on shipping times is available at the USPS website.
All numbers we provide are provided at the time we print the label and then package leaves our hands that day or Morning of the next business day. Local post office MAY NOT scan when dropped off so submission information may only show for a short time after the item leaves our hands, but once you have the "tracking numbers" the item has shipped out.
US Customers:
First Class Mail: weight limited to smaller packages (option will not show if your order weight exceeds limit) Shipping time 5-7 business days avg. Delivery Confirmation Number Only, not normally scanned during transit.
Parcel Post: Low cost option for heavier packages, this is also the option used for "Free Shipping" promotions unless otherwise stated. Shipping time is 5-9 busines days. Delivery Confirmation Number is scanned at SOME points during transit, not on a regular basis, so per USPS, its not "tracked" duing shipping.
Priority Mail: Shipping Time is 2-3 business days avg. This is not gauranteed by the postal service. Delivery Confirmation Numbers are tracked and update every evening if new information is available.
Express Mail: Shipping time is 1-2 business days depending on location/distance from us. Delivery Confirmation Number is also "Tracking Number" and tracking infomration will update everytime the package is scanned. THIS IS A GAURANTEED SERVICE. On your package when you receive it will show information at the bottom: Time/Date checked in at post office, Date and "Deliver by" time (usually marked at 12 noon or 3 pm). If package is later than information marked by postal service, please contact us as you are entilted to a refund for the shipping cost (not handling fee)
We are not responsible for shipping times/delays in ANY case outside a delay on our part getting the package to the postal service, if you have received your delivery confirmation number, then item has shipped. We have no control over the postal service and cannot get any more information than you from them except the refund for EXPRESS MAIL when it is delivered late. We WILL however assist in ANY WAY we can to get your package delivered
International (outside US) Customers:
Same three shipping options: First Class Mail International, Global Priority Mail, and Express Mail (EMS), HOWEVER, shipping times are different and shipping times can vary greatly, more information is available at www.usps.com. Shipping times based on location, option selected, and your countries policies and customs.
First Class Mail International: THIS OPTION IS ONLY FOR SMALL ORDERS. Approx 7-10 Business days but can vary GREATLY. Numbers provided are CUSTOMS NUMBERS ONLY, they do not track the package and are not tracking numbers. They are used to trace a package if lost during shipping
Global Priority Mail: 6-10 business days average, though can vary. Tracking numbers issued at time order is shipped. Price Includes Insurance if available for your country.
EMS (Express Mail): 3-5 business days average, though can vary. Tracking numbers issued at time order is shipped. Price Includes Insurance if available for your country.
We are not responsible for shipping times/delays. Global Priority and EMS can be tracked daily (as package is scanned) and traced after 7 days. IF USPS DOES NOT OFFER INSURANCE FOR ORDERS SHIPPED TO YOUR COUNTRY WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT. We are happy to help locate your package, however we will not contact foreign customs (that you must do, we only speak english) and you are responsible for any fees/taxes charged by your country to receive the items.
Warranty/Returns:
All returns must be returned to us in unopened, original packaging and shipped at your own expense. No returns excepted on opened/used parts and are subject to inspection upon return. Returns subject to 10% restocking fee. *Exclusions below
CONTACT US FOR WARRANTY INFORMATION. Some items you will need to contact the manufacturer for warranty though MOST warranty items are to be returned to us, shipping is at your expense, and we will ship out replacement for free. Some items we may only need a picture of to show the broken item and then we can ship out replacement. WARRANTY IS EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT ONLY, no refunds will be issued on warranty items.
Returns due to shipping error on our part: If we send you the wrong item, please PACKAGE PROPERLY so the item is not damaged during shipping, and return via USPS First Class Mail, we will credit your store account or credit card/paypal account (your option) for the shipping charge and send out the CORRECT part for free. This does NOT include if the "wrong part" is ordered, if the part matches the invoice, then it will be classed as a standard return.
Backorders/Preorders:
We do allow this option, PLEASE NOTICE ANY "BACKORDERED" NOTES ON SHOPPING CART/INVOICE AS WELL AS THE DETAILS PAGE OF EACH ITEM. Order confirmation email also post backordered on out of stock items. WAIT TIMES ON BACKORDERED PARTS CAN VERY GREATLY AS THERE CAN BE VARIOUS REASONS AS TO WHY WE ARE OUT OF STOCK. Please contact customer service regarding wait times for out of stock items. Orders with out of stock items are held until all items are in stock except under these conditions as we do not charge extra shipping to split orders: Order must be over $75 and must NOT be "Free Shipping" option. PAYPAL USERS: We cannot split orders to ship out in stock items immediately and ship out of stock items when they arrive. Be prepared to wait for all items to come in stock OR contact us to remove out of stock item from order. We can remove items from an order at any time EXCEPT once the order has gone to "Shipped" status.
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
Payments are captured immediately from Credit/Debit cards and Paypal. This is how our payment processor chooses to handle payments (Paypal Website Payment System). Credit & Debit cards are authorized and charged immediately upon your selection to pay for your purchase. Same applies to Paypal Users. This is a current security measure to avoid fraudulent charges being made by only allowing the customer to authorize a payment during checkout.
